Assignments do not show on staff activity lists due to either the reminder option not being enabled on the project definition at the time of project creation or the assignment has not yet reached the number of days set to show on the activity list.
The project's assigned date will usually show the date that the assignment will show on the activity list.
In order to see if the project was created with the correct reminder options for the assignment to show on the activity list edit the project then right-click on the assignment in question. Does the drop-down show the option for Add to Activity List with a checkmark next to it?
If the Add to Activity List shows without a checkmark this means the project was created without the reminder options in place. This setting can be retroactively updated to each open project type by navigating to setup> projects> project definitions> selecting the project type> edit> reminder options tab and checking in the setting for Add to Activity List x Days after Assigned Date under Staff Assignment Reminders.
Then selecting the gray box button next to Set all existing <project type> projects this way.
Please note that in selecting this button the settings will be updated for all current open projects of this type for ALL the reminder options on this window and will reset the assigned date on the current open assignment to reflect the number of days entered on the setting before the due date.
