Error: Please select a valid Database

If receiving the error 'Please select a valid Database' please follow the guide below.

1. Ensure from the Select a server drop-down that you are selecting the correct server name.
2. Ensure that on the server hosting the OfficeTools by CARET database the following two services are running.
   • SQL Server(NORTH40SYSTEMS)
   • SQL Server Browser
     
3. Ensure that on the server, the firewall ports are setup correctly for TCP and UDP there should be four in total. Two under inbound and two under outbound. Follow the guide below on how to set these up. Each rule should include five ports, the four listed in the guide as well as the dynamic port listed in the guide.
