INTRODUCTION:

Microsoft has provided a mobile Remote Desktop Connection app that allows you to connect to your cloud as if you were using your normal PC.

APPLIES TO:

APC Users that wish to use their Android device to connect to the cloud.

REQUIREMENTS:

Android 4.1 and above.

PROCEDURE:

Download the Microsoft Remote Desktop application from your Play Store.

Open the application and tap the plus sign in the upper-right.

Tap Desktop and then ADD MANUALLY.

Enter the following information:

• PC name — CustomerID.abacusprivatecloud.com
• User Name — tap Enter every time and select Add user account

Enter the following information:

• User name — (domain name)\(Your APC username)
• Password — (Your APC password)

You can get your domain name and APC username from your Welcome Kit or your local PC remote connection settings.

Tap SAVE until you see the connection screen.

Moving forward, to launch the connection, open the Microsoft RDP app and tap this connection you just created.

To close the connection, tap the three horizontal lines along the top of the server window and then tap the X in the upper-left corner of the connection window.
