This article will go over setting changes that will help resolve this issue.

REQUIREMENTS:

Windows 10 Operating system 

PROCEDURE:

Follow the steps below to shut off Windows control over your default printer selection. Use this process if you find your default printer keeps changing.

1. Go to Cortana bottom left taskbar
2. Type Printers and Scanners
3. Select Printers and scanners
4. Scroll down and shut off “Let Windows Manage my default printer"
