If OfficeTools by CARET is having refresh issues with the calendar, activity list, projects or billing tabs, restarting the services on the server is the first thing to do.
1. On the server, search for and open Services.
2. Search for the OfficeTools Service Host. You can scroll or click on one of the services and type the letter O, this will take you to services that start with o.
3. If the service has been started, you will have the option to restart. If it has not been started, you will have the option to start the service.
4. Once you have started or restarted the service. Go back to OfficeTools by CARET and check to see if things are refreshing faster.
