When Posting time or when logging in to Amicus Attorney by CARET you receive a message that the integration with your accounting package is currently unavailable.

On the server log in to PCLaw

Log into Amicus Attorney by CARET as an Administrator

Go to Firm Settings – Time – Accounting – Configure – Step One and choose Test Connection.

If the connection tested successfully log out of Amicus Attorney by CARET and PCLaw and lock but DO NOT LOGOUT of the server.

If test connection failed log the users out of Amicus Attorney by CARET

On the server restart the Amicus Server Service and the Amicus Daily Check service

Go to Firm Settings – Time – Accounting – Configure – Step One and choose Test Connection.

If the connection tested successfully log out of Amicus Attorney by CARET and PCLaw and lock but DO NOT LOGOUT of the server.
If you are using a Remote Desktop connection to the server it is advisable to do the steps above on the server directly (not through RDP)
