Disabling UAC in Windows 8 or 10:
- Click Start
- Type Control Panel and click to open.
- Click User Accounts.
- Click on Change User Account Control Settings (UAC).
- Drop the slider to the bottom and click OK.
- Reboot your PC.
Disabling UAC in Windows 7:
- Click Start
- Click Run.
- Type in MSCONFIG.
- Go to the Tools tab.
- Click on Change User Account Control Settings (UAC).
- Click Launch.
- Drop the slider to the bottom and click OK.
- Reboot your PC.
Disabling UAC in Widows Vista:
- Click Start
- Click Run.
- Type in MSCONFIG.
- Go to the Tools tab.
- Click on Disable UAC
- Click Launch.
- A command prompt window will come up and should say “The Operation completed successfully.”
- Close out of the Command Prompt and click OK on the System Configuration window
- Reboot your PC.
