Disabling User Account Control
Disabling UAC in Windows 8 or 10
- Click Start.
- Type Control Panel and click to open.
- Click User Accounts.
- Click Change User Account Control Settings (UAC).
- Drop the slider to the bottom and click OK.
- Reboot your PC.
Disabling UAC in Windows 7
- Click Start.
- Click Run.
- Type MSCONFIG.
- Go to the Tools tab.
- Click Change User Account Control Settings (UAC).
- Click Launch.
- Drop the slider to the bottom and click OK.
- Reboot your PC.
Disabling UAC in Widows Vista
- Click Start
- Click Run.
- Type MSCONFIG.
- Go to the Tools tab.
- Click Disable UAC.
- Click Launch.
- A command prompt window will display the message “The Operation completed successfully.”
- Close the Command Prompt and click OK on the System Configuration window.
- Reboot your PC.
