If you are unable to remove the read-only attribute of the Abacus directory by unchecking the read-only box under the Properties window, you can change it manually using the command prompt.
- Go to the Start menu and enter cmd in the Search field and press Enter to open the Command Prompt.
- In the command prompt enter: note(((allcap))=. attrib –r C:\Abacus*.* /s
