The Matters/Names Synopsis report shows linked data sorted by date under each matter or name, so day by day you see a listing of notes, events, and documents. You can review recent history as well as future events at a glance. The report is often run for a single matter or name, and it is particularly useful for getting up to speed on the current status of a matter.
- In AbacusLaw, select File > Reports and then either Names or Matters depending on which report to run.
- The Matters Report Control window opens. Click Report.
- The Report List window opens. Highlight Matter Synopsis or Name Synopsis and click Done.
- Click Output to. The Output to window opens. Select the output source (Printer, Screen, File, Data-Merge File) and click Done.
- Click Print.
- The Date Range window opens. Set the dates for the report and click Done to generate the report.
