A Malpractice Report allows you to find all open matters with nothing scheduled in the future. It can also scan for matters that do not have any recent notes. This is essential for identifying calendaring mistakes early.
- Navigate to File > Reports > Matters
- Click Report in the upper left corner of the window
- Highlight the Malpractice Alert from the list of reports and Click OK
- Choose your output source (Printer, Screen, File, Data Merge File)
- Click Print at the bottom of the window
- Before printing you will be prompted to select the Events and Notes cutoff dates. (This is an ‘or’ query; if either is true it will return a result.
- After defining the required fields, Click Ok to view your report
Editing a Malpractice Report
You can set your malpractice report to match your preferences:
- Click File > Reports > Matters
- Click Report in the upper left corner of the window
- Highlight Malpractice Alert from the list of reports and click Edit.
- From the drop down menu select Special > Malpractice Alert
- Define your preferences. Click Done to save.
- Click Done, Done, Done
