This is usually due to the fact that you have been added as a user in the program but have not been given access to any of the program.
When a new user is added to the User Manager, you must go through all the “Menu Selection” windows and check boxes to set what the new user can and can’t do, or add them as an Administrator. If you add them as a Administrator then they can do everything in the program. If they are not an Admin then there are numerous screens that you need to go through to give them rights.
To get to the Security Profile options, follow these steps:
- Navigate to File > Setup > User Manager. (Need to be an Admin)
- Highlight the User whose permissions you would like to change.
- Click Security Profiles
- Click Edit on any of the security profiles to change their permissions.
