First make sure you have Online Banking Enabled.

Log into your Abacus Accounting.

Go to File > Setup > Chart of Accounts.

Go to File > Setup > Chart of Accounts.
- Find your Cash – Operating Account and click Edit.
- For v22 – Make sure the checkbox for Cash Account is checked.

Go to the Online Banking Tab.
- If you are downloading your statements from the Bank and uploading the file to Abacus Accounting, then you can proceed to Step 2.
- If you would like to download the data to Abacus Accounting directly from your bank, please fill out the Online Banking Tab. The following steps will not apply to you. If you have trouble, please contact your bank for the needed information or search “Online Banking” in the Knowledge Base.

Log into your Abacus Accounting.
- Make sure the file you are downloading from the bank is in an OFX or QFX format.

Go to G/L> Online Banking > Input File.
- If nothing happens, you may need to turn off your User Account Controls (UAC).
- If nothing happens, you may need to turn off your User Account Controls (UAC).
- If the UAC is turned off, and you are still not seeing any transactions, re-download your statement into a .CSV or excel format so you can open it to make sure the downloaded file actually contains data. If the file does not contain data, please call your bank or your IT for assistance downloading your statements.
