When making changes to your User Manager in AbacusLaw by CARET, AbacusLaw by CARET attempts to update the MessageSlips users list automatically. However, in some cases, the users list is locked by users currently logged into MessageSlips, and cannot be updated. If a user is not able to log into MessageSlips, or you see an old user on the list, follow the steps below to force MessageSlips to recreate the users list.
- Have all users log out of MessageSlips.
- Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard, then relaunch MessageSlips.
Right-click on the MessageSlips icon in your taskbar. Confirm that the user list now matches AbacusLaw.
- If you still find that your user list is not accurate, launch AbacusLaw by CARET, and navigate to File > Setup > User Manager. If your AbacusLaw by CARET user list is inaccurate, make any needed changes in User Manager, then try again.
