This article outlines the Beta Tester Program Enrollment process for the Client.
Customer Account Portal Client Roles
The following are Customer Account Portal Client Roles that can enroll in the Beta Tester Program. Access and administration functions are locked down based on roles.

Portal Manager – To Enroll in the Beta Tester Program
As the Portal Manager, you can enroll in the Beta Tester Program. The CARET Beta Program allows you to access beta versions of our services and products ahead of the general public.
1. Login to https://portal.abacusnext.com/#/login and with your credentials:
Email (User Name) and Password
2. Once you are logged in,
2.1 Select Account from the top menu to get into the Account screen with a summary of your Company Account information.
2.2 In the Account screen, navigate to the bottom right corner to find Beta Tester Program card.
2.3 In the Beta Tester Program card, the list shows the available Product Name and Status of enrollment in the Beta Tester Program.
2.4 To enroll in the Beta Tester Program for the listed Product, click Enroll.
2.4.1 The Enroll in Beta Tester Program screen will pop up to prompt you for the following.
2.4.1.1 Review the Beta Program Terms and Conditions.
2.4.1.2 Check the Box to accept the Beta Program Terms and Conditions.
2.4.1.3 Click Submit to submit your request for enrollment for review and approval.
2.4.2 The Enroll in Beta Tester Program screen will close, and you are back at the Account screen with a summary of your Company Account information.
2.4.2.1 In the Account screen, navigate to the bottom right corner to find Beta Tester Program card.
2.4.2.2 The Status of enrollment should be updated to “Interested”. (Your request is pending CARET approval.)
2.4.2.3 The Status of enrollment will be updated to “Enrolled” once the request has been approved by CARET.
2.4.2.3 To cancel your Beta Tester Program, click Cancel. (You can cancel your enrollment at any time.)
As Portal Manager – To Download the Available Software Version
Once CARET has approved your Beta Test Program enrollment request, you can download the available software versions.
1. Login to https://portal.abacusnext.com/#/login and with your credentials:
Email (User Name) and Password
2. Once you are logged in,
2.1 Select Account from the top menu to get into the Account screen with a summary of your Company Account information.
2.2 In the Account screen, navigate to the middle left section to find Downloads card.
2.3 In the Downloads card, the list shows the available Product Name, Current Version, and Available Version in the Beta Tester Program.
2.4 To download the Available Version in the Beta Tester Program for the listed Product, click Download.

Customer Account Portal has multi-factor authentication in place to prevent data breaches of our clients’ information. Although having a strong password is an important part of security, this is only one step to securing our network and clients’ data. That’s why multi-factor authentication is so important and critical for our business systems and clients’ information.
