INTRODUCTION:

This article reviews the steps to connect to Abacus Private Cloud via an iOS device. 

APPLIES TO:

APC users who want to connect to APC using an iOS device. 

REQUIREMENTS:

 iOS RDP client supports devices like iPhone or iPad running iOS 6.x and newer. (This is determined by the vendor current configurations may be subject to change and can be located here.)

PROCEDURE:

Download the Microsoft Remote Desktop application from your App Store.

Open the application and tap the plus sign in the upper-right.

Tap Desktop.

Enter PC Name: xxxx.abacusprivatecloud.com / xxxx.amicusprivatecloud.com.

Tap Add User Account.

Enter the following information:

• User name — (domain name)\(Your APC username)
• Password — (Your APC password)

You can get your domain name and APC username from your Welcome Kit or your local PC remote connection settings.

Tap SAVE until you see the connection screen.

Moving forward, to launch the connection, open the Microsoft RDP app and tap this connection you just created.

To close the connection, tap the three horizontal lines along the top of the server window and then tap the X in the upper-left corner of the connection window.
