After enabling the Email Integration, with the option selected to show the embedded view of my Outlook mail, the Outlook folder isn’t present under Communications, or if it is visible there is no content present.
The Outlook folder view in Amicus by CARET is blank or not displaying the emails.
To resolve the issue:
Log out of Amicus by CARET and close MS Outlook.
Open the Windows Search, and type regedit and select Registry Editor.
Navigate to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AbacusNext\Amicus Attorney.
In a blank space on the right screen, right-click and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.
Type in BuildOutlookViewOnClient, exactly as shown with all matching capitalizations, and click OK.
Right click on the new BuildOutlookViewOnClient DWORD value and choose Modify...
In the Base group, switch from Hexadecimal to Decimal.
Change the Value data: from 0 to 1 (1 being True).
Click the OK button and exit the Registry Editor.
Open Outlook.
Log into Amicus by CARET and confirm the Outlook view now displays correctly.
Note: MS Office must be the 32-bit edition to link to Amicus by CARET, and can cause the emails not to apear.
