Amicus Billing by CARET, allows Firm's to restrict all Billing functions prior to a date defined by the firm.
Setting the Restrict Billing Entries Prior to date determines when users receive a warning. If a user attempts to create, edit, or delete a billing transaction dated before this restriction date, Amicus Billing by CARET will display a warning.
This warning applies to the following billing items:
- Time Entries
- Expense Entries
- Trust Checks and Receipts
- Trust to AR Transfers
- Trust File-to-File Transfers
- Receipts
- General Retainer Refunds
- Bills
- Write Ups/Downs
- Reminder Statements
To set the Restrict Billing Entries Prior to date:
Log into Amicus as an Administrator
Go to Office > Firm Settings > General - Fiscal Year.
Under the Restrict Billing Entries Prior to set the required date.
Click Apply or Click Ok to save changes.
