Issue. Events missing from files and\or inability to add new calendar events without receiving an error about foreign key constraints.
CARET support is not responsible for your backups so please ensure that you create one prior to running the script below.
Solution:
1
Make a backup of the Amicus Attorney by CARET database (from within Amicus or from SQL Management Studio)
2
Log into SQL Management Studio with Windows Authentication or the sa password
3
Expand databases.
4
Select the Amicus Attorney by CARET database and the New Query
5
In the Query box type in refreshfirmeventcache as seen above. Then select Execute.
Once done it will say Command successfully completed
If you receive a Transaction deadlock error please run the command again.
Verify you can see and\or create events on the calendar.
When closing the Project window you may wish to save the project for future use. To save select the X on the top right of the query window. It will prompt if you wish to save. Say yes and select the Desktop and call the script Missing Events.sql
To use this in the future make sure to do a backup of the database first, then launch SQL management Studio and login. Expand the databases and Select Amicus Attorney by CARET. Then double click on the script, ensure the amicus database is in the drop down and then select Execute.
To avoid this issue please close out of Amicus Attorney by CARET and Outlook at the end of the day. This error usually occurs if the programs are open at the time of the restart of the Amicus Daily Check service. This service is restarted at 12am and restarts to bring the events forward to the next day.
