Issue: Upon logging into Amicus Attorney by CARET, it's found the To Do's are missing from the Calendar, repeating Appointments that should appear on the todays Calendar aren't present, Tasks aren't present on Today's Tasks.
Cause: The Amicus Daily Check, which runs on the Amicus Application Server every night at midnight, failed to successfully run.
Solution:
- Log into Amicus Attorney by CARET and open the Calendar module.
- Look on the right in the To Do's. If nothing is present, use the < arrow, on the blue bar beside the date, to move to the prior day and see if the To Do's are shown. If not repeat the step to go through prior dates until you locate the To Do's. The date they appear is the last day the Amicus Dily Check Successfully ran.
- If the To Do's are found on yesterday's date, the Amicus Daily Check may run overnight and update the data.
- If the date the events are located is more than 2 days in the past, log into Windows on the Amicus Application Server.
- In the Search next to the Windows Start button type services.msc and hit Enter on the keyboard to open the Services.
- Locate the Amicus Daily Check Service and confirm that shows Running under the Status column. If the service is listed as Running, contact CARET Client Services to request assistance to address this issue.
To avoid this issue please close out of Amicus Attorney by CARET and Outlook at the end of the day, and ensure nothing is running on the Amicus Application Server at 12:00 A.M. daily. This error usually occurs if the programs are open at the time of the restart of the Amicus Daily Check service. This Amicus Daily Check service runs daily at 12:00 A.M. to bring incomplete events forward, build new repeating events and notify the staff members of calendar entries, communications and other items they need to be alerted of.
