“Failed to create database”
Steps to take:

Verify the SQL services have installed

Log into SQL Mgmt. Studio as the sa user with a blank password

Access Security and expand Logins

Right click on Logins and select New Login and leave it at Windows Authentication

Add in the Administrator account (NOT the domain admin) and click OK to the screen below:

Select Server Roles and add the sysadmin and public role and click OK

Next right click on the sa user, go to Properties and add a password, click OK

Test the Administrator login by accessing File -> Connect Object Explorer and choosing Windows Authentication for a successful login

Use the same steps to test the sa account and password

Access the Windows services module.

Right click on the SQL Server (Amicus) service, select Properties

Select the Log On tab and then This account

Browse or type in the name of the local Administrator account you added to SQL Security login above
step . Type in the password and click OK
You will receive a message that the account has been granted rights to login as that service

Perform the same steps for the SQL Server Agent (Amicus)
15
Start both services
Continue with the Amicus Attorney by CARET installation.
