After upgrading to v23 forms are not auto-saving using the format from the Abacus Forms Setup

If you had previously been using the Save and log within the Abacus program in earlier versions you will need to uninstall the prior Save and Log macro. To do so:

1. Click File > Open (In Word 2003 and earlier) or the Windows button and then open (Word 2007 and later).
2. Change to the Abacus directory. You will want to select Abinst (Word 2003 and earlier) or AbacusWordMacros (2007 and later) and then click Open.
3. The program will open a window asking if you want to Install or Uninstall the macro. Select Uninstall.
4. The macro should now be gone from the list.

To install the new macro:

1. Click File > Open (In Word 2003 and earlier) or the Windows button and then open (Word 2007 and later).
2. Change to the \Abacus\v23\ directory. You will want to select Abinst (Word 2003 and earlier) or AbacusWordMacros (2007 and later) and then click Open.
3. The program will open a window asking if you want to Install or Uninstall the macro. Select Install.
4. Your macro should now be reinstalled.

Now, when you create a form from Abacus when you start to save the Document it should be using the format from the Abacus Form Library settings.
