Default Linked Name in the Notes Editor

You can set a client’s linked name as default when adding new notes to a matter. Follow these steps to enable this feature.

  1. Navigate to File > Setup > User Preferences

  2. Click the Appearance Tab > Check Init linked name > Click Done

  3. Click the Notes tab

  4. Click Add, The client’s name will auto populate

  • If you would like to disable this feature, simply Un-check Init Linked Names
