In order to use an AbacusLaw by CARET intake form on a webpage you will need to create a HTM file to upload onto your website.
- Click File >Setup >Intake Form Manager. The Intake Form Manager window opens.
- Click Configure.
- The Email configuration for Web Forms window opens. In the Web server URL field, enter the web address for the server where the intake form will be uploaded.
- In the Mail server URL field, enter the POP email server URL.
- In the Email account user name field, enter the email address the files will be sent to. The email address should only be used to deliver new intake forms. Enter the password for the email address in the Email account password field.
- Click Done.
- Back in the Intake Form Manager window, right click the intake form to be turned into a Web intake form and click Create Web page.
- In the window that opens, highlight New Case Web Form.htm and click Open.
- In the next window that opens, select the location for the Web form file. Then, rename the file in the File name field. IMPORTANT! Ensure there are no spaces in the name of the file. Click Save.
- The Attention window opens. It explains where the file will be located for you to deliver to your web server. Make sure that you deliver both the HTM and ITK file to the web server.
