How to edit the billing email template used when emailing invoices to clients.
This article will cover how to edit the email template used when sending invoices to clients from Abacus Accounting.
- Go to File>Setup>Company Preferences
- Click Billing Email Template
- From this window you can insert, remove and edit fields that populate information automatically as well as edit the plain text that appears.
- Fields that populate automatically are encapsulated in { }.
- Anything that is not encapsulated in { } acts like plain text and can be edited like plain text.
- To insert a new field, place your cursor in the desired location in the window.
- In the drop down, select the desire field and click Insert
- Click Show and select a matter from the drop-down to preview the template.
- Click Format to go back to editing.
- Once complete click Done
