- Get everyone else out of AbacusLaw, Messageslips, and Abacus Accounting; you log out of everything except Law.
- Backup AbacusLaw: File > Utilities > Backup > Backup
| - Click Help.
- Click Abacus Updates
- Click Check for updates.
- Click Ok.
- Check the one(s) you want and click Install Updates.
- Click Yes to all subsequent prompts.
- If prompted for rules (Applicable to PALs only): Select Replace all rules > Click Ok.
- Click Yes.
