You can use the Label Reports listed or add your own report to print labels.
Index
Label Reports
- Click File > Reports > Names to make a label for Names or File > Reports > Matters to make a label for Matters
- Click the Report button
- Select one of the available Label options
- To know what a label report is make sure the Type description says Labels
- You can jump to Labels by typing the word “Label” once you are in the Report List menu
- Click on the Edit button to edit the report so you can pick the label number you need.
- Select the Label option on the tool bar and select your Avery label from the list
- Click the OK button
- Make sure to define what you want to see by using the Query button located under the Report button in the Names Report Control window
- Press the Output To button and select the destination of your label (Printer, Screen, File, or Data Merge File)
- Click the Print button to generate your label
Add your own report to print labels
- Click File > Reports > Names to make a label for Names or File > Reports > Matters to make a label for Matters
- Click the Report button
- Click the Add button
- Input the Name and Description and press the OK button
- Select Labels as your report type
- In the Label Setup Window you can choose an existing label format or create your own
- This is done by clicking the ADD button and entering the appropriate information you are prompted for
- You can also clone an existing label and edit its properties.
