How to stop “PDA_APPT” from showing on my calendar

Changing PDA_APPT Name When Synching PDA and AbacusLaw by CARET

When doing a sync from your PDA into AbacusLaw by CARET, by default the WHAT code that will appear on your calendar for those events is PDA_APPT. Well, some people do not like that and want to change it to something else, i.e. “Appointment” or “APPT”.

You can change this in the Sync setting for AbacusSync or OutlookSync. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Go to File > Synchronize > AbacusSync or OutlookSync > Setup 
   
2. Proceed to the Events tab.
   
3. Change the code for What code for New Events 
   
   
   
   
4. Finally select Done to finalize those changes
