The start cannot be equal to or prior to the last close date

When running G/L reports Abacus Accounting prompts this error message. “The Start cannot be equal to or prior to the last close date of…..”

Error message in Abacus Accounting “The Start cannot be equal to or prior to the last close date of MM/DD/YYYY”

This message will appear any time in Abacus Accounting if you are trying to pull up any general ledger information (e.g., Check Register, Journal Activity, reports) where a Start Date and End date must be entered and the Start Date entered is before the Last Year End Closing Date.

To avoid this message modify the Start Date to a date after the last Year End Closing Date.
