Users can select a default color for each Activity Type or Service Order Type.
1. In the setup tab, click on “activities” in the Maintain Lookup-values section and select “Activity Types” from the drop-down menu.
2. Select a activity you wish to modify the calendar or DMC color for.
While the check box “Show in Calendar” must be checked for activities and service orders to appear in the calendar, the color designated will appear in the DMC regardless.
We highly recommend choosing a muted color instead of one of the basic colors available, using the Define custom colors button.
4. Users can override default colors by selecting the ‘Calendar’ tab (1) on a particular Activity or Service Order and then selecting a new color (2):calendar-tab
Changing the color of an activity type or service order type will only effect new items. Changes must be applied to all old activities that are desired to have colors added.
If there is a color selected, it will be used for the DMC view. If having the item highlighted is not desired, select white for the row, per 3.3 or 4.2, above.
