Minimum Requirements

• You need at least 1 Mbps to download speed and 1Mbps upload speed per user.

If you have multiple concurrent users on the same network/office, add 1 Mbps downloads and 1 Mbps upload to each user accessing Abacus Private Cloud to meet the connection requirements above.

Example:

• Five (5) concurrent users would require a minimum of 5 Mbps download & 5 Mbps upload connection speed
• Ten (10) concurrent users would require a minimum of 10 Mbps download & 10 Mbps upload connection speed

If you are on a home network, the most popular mainstream routers will be fine. However, in an office environment with multiple connections from multiple computers, you should use a business class router. This allows for a stable internet connection and consistent traffic to travel through your network.

 Windows OS 

• Windows 8.1 or later
• Remote Desktop Protocol (connection) 8.1 or higher
• 2 GB hard drive space
• 4 GB RAM
• Dual monitors with combined screen resolution no higher than 4096 x 2048

Macintosh OS 

Below are the minimum requirements for Mac computers:

• macOS 10.14 or later
• Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac
• Processor: 2.8 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo
• Memory: 4 GB 667 MHZ DDR2 SDRAM

Printers 

Printers must be TWAIN compliant.
