The PowerPM database consists of seven files. It is a static size and occasionally will need to be expanded. When the database gets down to 10% you will get a message each time PowerPM is launched. When it gets down to 5% it will lock you out.
Generally, to expand a PowerPM database, the utility TDBADM.EXE is run. However that utility only runs on 32-bit operating systems. This article explains how to expand the database on a 64-bit operating system.
1. In the folder where the PowerPM database files reside, launch PMDBRebuild.exe. If the database files are not in the PowerPM application folder then you will need to copy the MASTER.CLI file from the application CLI folder and paste it into the folder above where the database files reside.
2. Check the Expand Database Areas box and click Proceed.
3. Take the default and click OK.
