When viewing another firm members Calendar, Appointments show as Unavailable.
To see the details of another firm members Appointments at least one of the following rules must be met:
- The person trying to view the other firm members Appointment must also be assigned to the Appointment.
- The Appointment must be linked to a File that the person trying to view the Appointment is also assigned to.
- The person trying to view the Appointment must be the initial creator of that Appointment.
If a firm member creates their own Appointment, which isn’t assigned to the staff member trying to view that event, and the Appointment isn’t associated to a File which the other staff member is assigned to, those firm members don’t have access to view the details of the appointment.
If a firm member needs another firm member to have access to view the details of all their appointments, and the rules aren’t met, the firm member whose appointments need to be viewed can set a Preference to allow a specific firm member(s) to see the details.
To set the Preference, the firm member whose appointment are to be visible must make the following change in their Preferences, or an Amicus Administrator can make the changes on behalf of that user.
- Navigate to the Office module and select Preferences.
- Under the Calendar grouping, select Other.
- Locate the "Allow details of ALL my Appointments, including Personal ones, to be viewed in the Calendar by:". Click the blue person icon
, to display the Select People window.
- Add user(s) who need to see this firm members Appointments.
Those users who have been set to view Appointments, will be able to see the details after they to log out and back into Amicus Attorney.
