Before you begin:
In order to utilize the Excel Contact Export tool, you must have the Contact Manager user right within OfficeTools.
To access the export feature of the Excel Export tool, go to Contacts drop-down>Import/Export Contacts>Export to Spreadsheet.
Feilds: contacts can be exported from Practice Management to .csv or .xml files. Check the boxes of the fields you want to be included in the file.
Filters: you can filter the contacts info to be exported by Contact Type and Entity Type. Once you have checked in the Contact or Entity Type you wish to export. Select the ellipses (...) next to the Select Specified Contacts, to add or remove contacts you wish to export.
Please note: when using the contact and entity type filters if you do not select the contacts from the ellipses to add the excel report will pull blank as no contacts have been selected.
You can also checkmark to include hidden, alternative, or dependent contacts in the file. Designate the Save Path at the top of the window to determine where the export file will be saved.
Excel Import Template: this option will allow you to select what specific fields to export to the file.
IndustryNewsletters: this option will autoselect fields to export based on the fields needed for industry newsletters.
