Zola Suite allows you to organize and track your Contacts both in our dedicated Contact section, as well as within any given Matter. You can relate Contacts to a Matter, which will allow you to keep records of different relationships.
- Go to the Contact section of the Matter and select the + on the gold toolbar.
- This will open a new window which will ask you to select a Contact and Role:
The Contact drop-down field will allow you to choose an existing Contact from Zola Suite. If the person or company you wish to add is not already in Zola Suite, you can add them by using the + next to the Contact field.
The Role drop-down field will ask you to select the role you wish to label this Contact as. The role is their Role within the Matter or relationship. For example, if this person is the Judge in the Matter, you can choose Judge as their role. You can create new Roles by selecting the +. *When creating new Roles, be sure it does not already exist as you will then have duplicate roles.
What are the benefits of relating Contacts to Matters?
Contacts can be easily categorized and searched for when they are related to Matters.

You can view all related Matters directly from the Contact details modal

And easily email and invite Matter related Contacts to Events.
