IMPORTANT: Making the changes to allow EWS to continue working is time-sensitive and should be addressed ASAP to prevent loss of access to the link.
Microsoft has announced a phased, administrator-controlled retirement of Exchange Web Services (EWS) beginning in October 2026. This change will impact the current EWS-based connection between Amicus Attorney by CARET and Microsoft Exchange / Office 365.
Microsoft will fully disable EWS by April 1, 2027.
Amicus Attorney by CARET is developing an update to address this issue by replacing the EWS connection with Microsoft Graph.
To keep the connection between Amicus Attorney and Microsoft Exchange / Office 365 working until your firm receives and applies the update, we recommend your firm extend EWS access. This requires access to the Office 365 tenant administrator account.
Follow these Microsoft instructions to update your Office 365 tenant settings to maintain EWS access in the short term.
If assistance is required to make the changes you will need to contact your IT Technician or Microsoft support.
