Attempting to run any Basic report from Reports or Firm Reports, throws a 'File cannot be found' error with a location to the user's local user temp (tmp) folder.
Solution.
Access the registry by going to Start -> Run
- Type in regedit.
For Amicus Attorney by CARET 2016:
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Gavel & Gown\Amicus70
- Look for the key on the right named ServerInstallDir
- Double click this key to modify it.
For Amicus Attorney by CARET v20
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AbacusNext\Amicus Attorney
- Look for the key on the right named ServerInstallDir
- Double click this key to modify it.
This path should be as follows:
SERVER should be the name of your Amicus Attorney server.
That's it!
