OVERVIEW:
Reference the following guide for instructions on how to set up a Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) shortcut for connecting to your Cloud. Once you have set up your RDP shortcut, you can use that to access your Cloud just like any other computer shortcut.
PROCEDURE:
1. Press Win + R to open the Run window.
2. Type "mstsc" & click OK.
3. Click Show Options
4. Enter your logon information:
- Computer: vm-xxx or C9-xxxxx
- User Name: Cloud9\username
5. Mark the Allow me to save my credentials checkbox.
a. Optional - Open the Display tab and mark the Use all my monitors checkbox is you want to use all of your monitors when connecting to the Cloud.
6. Open the Local Resources tab and verify both Printers and Clipboard checkboxes are marked.
7. Click More to open the Local Devices and Resources window.
8. Mark the checkboxes for all of your local resources and click OK.
9. Go back to the General tab and click Save As.
10. Click the Advanced button and Settings...
11. Click the Use these RD Gateway Server Settings button and check the Bypass RD Gateway Server for local addresses checkbox - make sure Use my RD Gateway credentials for the remote computer is checked as well. The server name we'll be using depends on where your server's gateway resides.

Pro Users
- Server Name: go-tx.cloud9realtime.com
12. Press OK to save your settings and click back to the General tab. Name the RDP shortcut and save it to your desktop using the Save As button.
13. Double-click your newly saved shortcut to access your Cloud.
