Setup local desktop connection to Abacus Core Cloud (Windows)
How do I migrate my Cloudnine data to Abacus Core Cloud?
PROCEDURE:
NOTE: We *highly* suggest using the local desktop connection for a consistent experience when transferring files from your local computer to the cloud.
Website Transfer
Uploading files
- Log-in to https://core.abacusprivatecloud.com and open your Firm Files, press the arrow icon in the bottom right and select Upload File.
- Find the file you want to transfer from your local computer and Open to upload it.
Note: The Website will only allow one file to transfer at a time. To upload multiple files at a time, compress them into a .zip or .rar folder before transferring or use the Parallels desktop client. - Select the location you would like to upload the file to.
Downloading files
- Log-in to https://core.abacusprivatecloud.com and open your Firm Files, press the arrow icon in the bottom right, then select Download File at the top.
- Find the file you want to download.
Note: The Website will only allow one file to transfer at a time. To download multiple files at a time, compress them into a .zip or .rar folder before transferring or use the Parallels desktop client. - Select the location you would like to download the file to.
Desktop Client Transfer
- Right click your Abacus Core Cloud connection in the Client and select Connection Properties...
- Select the Local Resources tab and make sure the Disk Drives box is checked, you may configure specific drives using the Configure Drives... button.
You're done! You may now use access local drives while inside of Abacus Core Cloud to upload and download files.
