Upgrading Amicus Attorney by CARET to a new version requires you to license your software within 30 days of installation. This is a standard procedure for most software companies.
Notifications that appear upon login inform you of how many days remain to license the program before Amicus Attorney by CARET becomes inaccessible.
Please contact Support or Sales if you do not know your Customer ID or see Adding a New User License.
Licensing for the first time:
Ensure that you have a backup of Amicus Attorney by CARET.
- Login as as an Administrator, then select Firm Settings from the left Navigation pane.
- Click Firm Basics under the General section, then enter your Customer ID in the field provided.
- Click Apply and OK, then log out and back in again.
- Select User Management from the left Navigation pane.
- Click Apply License at the bottom of the User Management dialog.
Adding additional Licenses or a Feature:
Selecting Apply License exposes additional users\features.
