This article explains how a user can change their own User ID and/or Password.
This should not be used to change the account from a former employee to a new employee.
To change your own User Id and/or Password;
- Go to the Office Module and select Preferences
- Under the General heading click My Profile
- Select the Edit button to the right of your name
- In the lower right, click the Office Access... button
- Type your current password into the Old Password
- Enter a New Password. and re-enter the same password in the Verify.
- Click OK to exit the screen and save the change.
- To change only the User ID, make the required edit in the User ID field.
You must also put in the current password into the Old Password field. Without entering the password a prompt will appear indicating this is a requirement. - Click OK to save the change(s) and exit the screen.
If you cannot remember your password, clicking the Reset Password button will clear the current password and allow you to enter a New Password and Verify.
The changes listed in this article can be performed for your own account, and an Amicus Administrator can do the changes for other users. To get to the settings for other users, the Administrator must go to Office > Administration - User Management. Double click the users name needing to be changed. Continue from Step 4 above to change the other users credentials.
