1. Download and launch setup_3.x.xxx.exe and follow the prompts.
This is the default path, but you can change this if necessary.
If you do not currently have the Lacerte integration you can opt-out of installing the Lacerte SDK (See below).
After you click this next, OfficeTools by CARET will automatically start the installation process for you.

Launch OfficeTools Workspace (there should be a desktop icon).
From here you will want to click the drop-down menu and select your server/workstation where the OfficeTools Server Installation was run. If it is not listed, the server is most likely being blocked by a firewall or Anti-virus program.
The default login is:
Username: Admin
No password necessary

You will then be prompted to enter your licensing information.
Here you will enter the information that was provided to you (this will only need to be done for the first user attempting to login to the OfficeTools by CARET database). You should now see your company name listed above the login credentials area (Alderaan Accounting) as shown above.
