An Amicus Attorney by CARET Billing User may be required to monitor a File to ensure an agreed General Retainer minimum amount is present. To assist in monitoring an alert can be enabled to create a Retainer Balance trigger Amount for the File. This alert helps remind the user to inform clients to replenish Retainer funds when needed.
To enable the General Retainer Balance reminder:
In Amicus Attorney by CARET open the File needing the reminder set.
In the File open the Billing side.
Under the File Facts open the Admin > Bill Setting.
On Retainer and Billing check the box for Minimum then select Trust or General Retainer Balance Required.
Enter the Amount and Trigger amounts.
Click Save & Close to complete the configuration.
